Financial Counselling Services

In Singapore, polyclinic services are highly subsidised by the Government. At National University Polyclinics, we are committed to providing quality medical care to all our patients. If you have genuine financial difficulties, make an appointment with our financial counsellors for assistance.

Use of Medisave

1. Chronic conditions

If you are seeking treatment for the following chronic conditions at our polyclinics, you may use your Medisave to help you manage your bills:

  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)
  • Lipid disorders (e.g. high cholesterol)
  • Strok
  • Asthma
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • Major depression
  • Dementia

You may use Medisave to pay for:

  • Consultation
  • Medication and laboratory tests relating to the chronic conditions listed above

2. Vaccination

You may use Medisave to pay for the following vaccinations:

  • Hepatitis B vaccination
  • Pneumococcal vaccination
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination (for female patients between 9 and 27 years old)

3. Dental services

You may use Medisave for the following subsidised dental surgical procedures:

  • Removal of roots
  • Implant surgery
  • Bone graft surgery
  • Soft tissue graft
  • Dislocation, re-implantation and transplantation, incision and drainage.

Please talk to our financial counsellors to check if you are eligible for the various schemes under Medisave. Eligibility varies across individuals, and is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Our financial counsellors will share more information on the schemes with you during your appointments.
